Property Owners Association
The Point Aquarius Property Owner’s Association (POA) is the corporation which maintains, initiates and modifies all by-laws and deed restrictions for our neighborhood. All property owners in Point Aquarius are members of the POA.
POA Board of Directors Roles & Responsibilities
The POA Board of Directors is composed of nine representatives, each elected for a three year term.
- POA Board Powers: Include adopting and publishing rules and regulations governing the use of facilities in our neighborhood, as well as defining infractions and infraction resolution
- POA Board Duties: Include determining the POA assessment on an annual basis; insure that the common areas are maintained, and assure that a uniform, modern, and clean appearance is maintained throughout the neighborhood by policing member’s compliance with the Deed Restrictions

POA Board Meetings
Monthly POA Board Meetings
- Date: Second Thursday of each month
- Location: Community Center at 7:00 PM, 12550 Pegasus
- POA resident members wishing to formally address the Board should contact the management office at at (936) 856-4927 or via office@pointaquarius.com
- Informal comments and questions are taken by the Board upon adjournment of the regular meeting
Annual POA Meeting
- Held on the last Saturday of April at the each year at a time and place designated in the Notice of Meeting
- All property owners are encouraged to attend
- POA Board elections are held during the Annual Meeting
POA Board Elections
- Board members are elected at large for a three-year term
- Each property owner is entitled to one vote per residential property account in good standing
- Ballots are mailed out in March. The community has 30 days to cast their vote by:
(1) mail
(2) dropping their ballot at the POA office or
(3) voting in person at the Annual Meeting held at the end of April - At the first monthly meeting following the election, the Board votes amongst themselves for the key positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer
