Common Grounds & Flags Committee

Common Grounds Committee Activities

Point Aquarius is surrounded by over 200,000 trees. The forest consists of tall pines, elm, cedar, crêpe myrtle, cypress, red and live oak trees. In 2012 Roy Kessler and a neighbor started planting tree seedlings from his garden throughout Point Aquarius. Our greenbelts/common areas, which consist of 45 acres, have over 500 trees planted by Roy and First Presbyterian Church of Conroe’s Youth Group.

The mission of the POA Common Grounds Committee is to work with POA vendors for Landscaping and Mowing to maintain our beautiful common spaces. Master gardeners also volunteer their time and expertise on new common grounds projects as well.

Our neighborhood heroes volunteer their time to display flags honoring every branch of our armed forces at the guardhouse.
