Marina Committee
The mission of the POA Marina Committee is to oversee the maintenance and operations of the marina. For information on marina slips, please visit the Marinas amenity page.
Description and Activities
The POA Office handles the day-to-day administration of the lease contracts and marina issues that arise and the Marina Committee is focused on ensuring the long-term maintenance is addressed.
Recent & Current Projects
- Under bid: Raising the electrical panels at the entrances to A, B, and C/D docks to keep them above water during high water events
- Under bid: Replacing the breakwater structure that has failed
Forecasted Projects
The marina is aging quickly with only a small amount of funds available to address these issues. In 2023, the annual dues for slip holders were doubled such that we could financially support an 8-year asset maintenance project. Over these 8 years, we will target:
- Replacing the deck boards
- Fixing electrical issues
- Fixing structural deficiencies
- Replacing the bladders that keep the marina afloat
